Sabrina looks at your skin type and condition, natural hair direction, existing pigment, lifestyle and the healed appearance you would like. Microblading uses manual hairstrokes. Nano Brows use a finer manual nano blade. Sabrina then recommends the technique more likely to heal well on your skin.

Skin retains pigment individually. The four-to-eight-week Refinement allows Sabrina to see the healed colour and adjust density, balance, shape and fine detail. The initial appointment and Refinement form one complete treatment process.

Fresh pigment begins deeper and more defined, then softens as the skin heals. Light flaking and a temporarily pale stage can form part of the healing cycle. Sabrina gives you treatment-specific cleansing, moisture and protection instructions before you leave.

Semi-Permanent Make-up is not carried out during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. You’re welcome to get in touch to plan an appointment for afterwards.

Send clear, make-up-free photographs in natural daylight so Sabrina can assess the colour, saturation and placement. Sabrina can then advise whether to work over it, change technique or lighten it first.

Lip Blush adds colour and defines the border within the natural lip tissue. Greater definition can make your lips appear more present while keeping their own shape and movement.

Many clients enjoy the result for around six to eight weeks. The curve softens gradually as the natural lashes move through their growth cycle.

The shape gradually relaxes as the brow hair grows, often over six to eight weeks. Hair condition, growth pattern and aftercare all influence longevity.

For the first 48 hours, keep the treated hair dry and away from water, steam, heavy heat and oil-based products. Gentle brushing with a clean spoolie keeps the hair in place.

Patch testing takes place at least 48 hours before treatment and remains valid for six months while the products and medical circumstances stay unchanged. You can visit SHY for a patch test from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

A Bridal Hair and Make-up Trial is most useful once the dress and broad direction of the day are clear. It gives time to create the complete look, photograph it, make adjustments and record the products and preparation for the wedding day. Trials in Lewes start at £290.

Sabrina is happy to travel for Bridal Trials, with an additional fee for appointments outside Lewes. Wedding-day Bridal Hair and Make-up starts at £495 and is available across Sussex and further afield. Travel, accommodation and any additional artist requirements are quoted around the location and schedule.

Hair, make-up or both can be arranged for you and your bridal party. The schedule is built backwards from the ceremony. An additional artist is included in the proposal when the group size or timings need one.
