What is a Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift reshapes the natural eyelashes into a lifted curve. The lashes are arranged over a silicone shield while professional lifting and setting products create the shape. More of the natural lash becomes visible, particularly when it grows straight or downwards.
Adding a tint darkens the lashes, including lighter ends that can otherwise be hard to see.

What happens during the appointment?
Sabrina first looks at the length, direction and condition of your lashes and asks how much curl you would like. Sabrina chooses a shield for the agreed lift, arranges the lashes, applies the products and completes the tint while your eyes remain closed.
Contact lenses are removed for treatment. Please arrange your patch test beforehand and tell the studio about any previous reaction or eye concern. Aftercare is explained before you leave.
Brow Shaping + Tinting
Shaping refines the outline of the brow and tint brings colour to lighter hairs. The shape follows the existing growth pattern, with the density preserved through the areas that give the brow its character.
Lashes and brows together
A Lash Lift can be combined with Brow Shaping and Tinting or Brow Lamination, according to the shape, density and direction of the existing hair.

The products and the treatment
Sabrina uses Elleebana Profusion for Lash Lifts and Brow Lamination. Processing time and product placement are adjusted according to the texture and condition of the hair.
A lift or lash extensions?
A lift changes your own lashes; extensions attach additional fibres. A lift therefore cannot add the length or density of a set of extensions. It is useful when you like your natural lashes and want more curl and definition, with an effect that gradually grows out.
Lamination or Microblading?
Lamination redirects existing hair. Microblading creates pigment hairstrokes in the skin and involves healing and a Refinement appointment. Where natural brow hair is sparse, Sabrina can assess whether Microblading is more suitable.
How long will the result last?
Many clients enjoy a Lash Lift or Brow Lamination for around six to eight weeks. The effect gradually softens as the natural hair grows, with timing varying between clients.
Repeat appointments depend on the condition and growth of the lashes or brows. Sabrina assesses these before repeating the treatment. If you are booking around a holiday or wedding, contact the studio about timing and allow room for the patch test.
Aftercare
For the first 48 hours, keep the lashes and brows dry and away from steam, heavy heat and oil-based products. Handle the hair gently. Sabrina explains brushing and conditioning at the appointment, with advice suited to the treatment and the condition of the hair.
Patch testing and suitability
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before treatment. It remains valid for six months while products and medical circumstances stay the same. Drop into SHY between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday, for a walk-in patch test.
